A few of weeks ago our team worked on a tiling project in the village of Molesworth near Huntingdon. This space was originally a garage which is now in the process of being converted into a granny annexe.
The builder has installed the underfloor heating system (as you can see in some of the pictures) and we are applying a heavy coat of latex followed by the new floor tiles.
We are doing this to the entire ground floor and the first-floor wet room, along with an engineered wood flooring to the 1st-floor bedroom and landing.
This is quite a labour intensive job, as so far we have used around 80 bags of latex just to try and get it ready for the floor tiles to go down!
If we were laying this in an LVT product it would probably only needed 12 – 15 bags.
Check out some of the snaps!
